The Finance & Human Resource Director is responsible for advanced secretarial, bookkeeping, and clerical functions of the department. She provides assistance and information for the annual audit, maintains payroll records and supports various financial aspects of the district. In addition, the Finance & Human Resource Director handles duties related to insurance and information technology.
Finance & Human Resource Director Kassandra Whidden
Mrs. Kassandra Whidden has served the San Carlos Park Fire Protection and Rescue Service District since 2001. Finance & Human Resource Director Whidden is a Certified District Manager, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator. She is also member of both the Society for Human Resource Management and Florida Government Finance Officers Association.
Mrs. Whidden holds an Associate of Science degree in Microsoft Network Engineering and spent much of her childhood in and around the fire station as she grew up just down the street from Station 51.
