SCPFD Honors Firefighter and Employee of the Year

SCPFD is proud to announce Firefighter Zachary Crouse is the 2024 San Carlos Park Fire District Firefighter of the Year. Firefighter Crouse was nominated for his hard work, commitment to others, and ability to ignite the passion of duty in the Firefighters that surround him. His supervisors praised him as a Firefighter who leads through excellence, builds effective teams, and stays consistent. He was commended for being an extraordinary employee who serves with honor and who has a gift for leadership.

SCPFD is proud to announce Division Chief Lucas Karth is the 2024 San Carlos Park Fire District Employee of the Year. Division Chief Karth was nominated for his initiative, dedication, and innovation. He were touted as someone who is admired for their leadership and commitment to the team. His commitment to excellence, modernization of our EMS inventory management system, and efforts to develop a comprehensive training program has improved patient outcomes and made him an invaluable asset to our organization.



SCPFD is Now Accepting Toy Donations

San Carlos Park Fire District’s Secret Santa Program is now accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys! Donations may be dropped off at any SCPFD Station. Donate by December 21st!

What to bring: Photo ID, Proof of residence, Proof of birthdate for each child.

Gifts will only be provided for children under 18 years of age. No gaming systems or computers

2023 SCPFD Annual Report Released

We are excited to share with you the 2023 SCPFD Annual Report. This past year was a busy year with 5,668 calls for service. As an all-hazards agency these emergencies included but were not limited to fire, medical, motor vehicle crashes, natural and man-made events, hazardous materials incidents, technical rescues, and brush fires. Firefighter and Employee of the Year Awarded

SCPFD would like to congratulate our 2023 Firefighter of the Year Firefighter Blake Parnell

Firefighter Parnell was nominated for his selflessness, positive attitude, and willingness to help others succeed. His supervisors praised him as a self-starter, a mentor to new employees, skilled in EMS, and one who fosters strong morale. His peers outlined his positive attitude in daily duties, efforts in charitable events and community relations, and selflessness. Firefighter Parnell was commended over and over for helping others achieve their goals and for giving his time both on and off duty to ensure his fellow firefighters’ success.

SCPFD would like to congratulate our 2023 District Employee of the Year Fire Inspector Aaron Stritenberger.

Inspector Stritenberger was nominated for his continuous effort and commitment to the success of our Fire Prevention Division. Stritenberger has grown professionally throughout his career with advancements in his education and certifications, including working towards his Fire Investigator Certification. In the past year he has been invaluable in the successful implementation of the new fire inspection software and has taken on a larger role in new construction inspections.
