Fire Safety Classes

All classes / programs are conducted at your site or at San Carlos Park Fire District Station #3, located 1/4 mile south of Florida Gulf Coast University on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway

Fire Extinguisher Use Training The Fire Extinguisher Use Training consists of both knowledge and skill based learning. The knowledge portion of the class covers fire behavior, types of fires and types/classifications of extinguishers. The skill portion of the class covers fire extinguisher use through hands-on live fire training. This class is offered for businesses and educational facilities and is subject to minimum class/group sizes. The class is conducted on-site and is FREE of charge.
Fire Truck Demonstration The Fire Truck Demonstration is a great way to promote fire safety at a school or community event and is a great opportunity to meet the firefighters who serve your community. The program is conducted on-site and is FREE of charge.
Fire Prevention Program Programs and lectures targeted toward a specific fire prevention topic and age group. Pick your own fire prevention topic or call and we’ll help figure out what is right for your group. The program is conducted on-site or within our facility and is FREE of charge.
Fire Station Tour Groups of all ages may come tour the fire station located on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway. Includes full station tour, fire truck demonstration, and a chance to meet the firefighters. The program is conducted at our facility and is FREE of charge
